The Problem:
AZZ Inc., a local tax and accounting firm, replaced their retired receptionist with a specialized calling agent that handles incoming calls, schedules appointments, and routes inquiries. This freed up Eli to focus entirely on client services, especially during busy tax season.

Our Solution:
This flow diagram outlines how an AI voice agent handles incoming calls. Here's how it works:
Call Initiation: A call comes in, and the AI agent engages the caller.
Information Gathering: The agent collects the caller’s name, the reason for the call, whether they want to make an appointment, and whether they’re a new customer.
Appointment Path:
If the caller wants to make an appointment, the agent schedules it and asks if there's anything else.
If not, the call ends. If yes, the call continues down the appropriate path.
Customer Type Routing:
If the caller is a new customer, the agent attempts to transfer them to Eli:
If Eli is available, he takes the call.
If not, the agent asks whether the caller would like to speak with Ryan or leave a message for Eli.
The agent either transfers to Ryan (if available) or records a message for Eli.
Existing Customers:
Calls from existing customers are transferred directly to Ryan:
If Ryan is available, he takes the call.
If not, the agent records a message.
Follow-Up: Any messages left for Eli or Ryan trigger a notification with the caller's name and reason for the call.
Immediate Benefits:
Eli was 100% booked at all times. All slots he wanted filled were filled with revenue opportunities.
Eli does not need to hire a new receptionist.
Eli does not need to hire a new CPA (he can keep the company as just him and an assistant).
Eli now sees the benefits of AI in his company, and we are beginning to discuss further add-ons to the agent to roll out the agenticOS.
